Highland

The largest whisky-producing region, the Highlands offer a wide range of styles—from light and floral to rich and peaty. Expect complexity and diversity, with coastal influences in some expressions.

Speyside

Home to the highest concentration of distilleries, Speyside whiskies are known for their elegance and sweetness. Common notes include apple, pear, honey, vanilla, and spice—often matured in sherry casks.

Islay

This island is famous for its bold, smoky, and peaty whiskies. Islay malts often carry maritime notes like seaweed, salt, and iodine, making them a favorite for fans of intense flavors.

Lowland

Lowland whiskies are typically lighter and more delicate, with grassy, floral, and citrusy notes. They’re often considered approachable and ideal for newcomers.

Island

Campbeltown

Aberfeldy 16 Year Old (Highland)

Tasting Notes: Honey, citrus, and spicy cloves on the nose. Rich fruitcake and dark chocolate on the palate with a smooth, mouth-coating finish.

Fun Fact: Matured in bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks, this whisky is known for its luxurious texture and golden hue.

Lagavulin 16 Year Old (Islay)

Tasting Notes: Deep peat smoke, iodine, seaweed, and a long, warming finish. A classic Islay malt for lovers of bold flavors.

Fun Fact: Often considered a benchmark for peated whiskies, Lagavulin 16 is a favorite among connoisseurs.

Glen Scotia 15 Year Old (Campbeltown)
