Taste our Best Breakfast

Our aim is to provide you with a delicious breakfast, the most important meal of the day.  We aim to use Scottish produce wherever possible.

Our cereal section has a good selection of popular breakfast cereals, including muesli from Stoats of Edinburgh. Our Scottish porridge oats come from Hamlyns in Aberdeenshire.

We have a fruit salad for you to enjoy with Scottish plain yoghurt from Rora Dairy near Peterhead on the east coast.

If you wish to partake in a traditional Scottish cooked breakfast you can enjoy our delicious pork sausages from Aberdeenshire Larder along with British bacon, Speyside haggis, Scottish mushrooms and potato scones.

For a lighter option, our continental breakfast includes Scottish ham, locally made salami by Great Glen Charcuterie from Roybridge, a selection of cheeses from around Scotland and delicious smoked salmon produced by Ardshealach Smokehouse at Glenuig.

Two local micro-bakeries supply us with our sourdough and rye breads.

Bar menu

For those who arrive at Guisachan Guesthouse on foot having spent the day hiking we have small bar menu so you don’t have to go out.

Hand pressed burgers from Aberdeenshire Larder using Scottish beef, spicy hand-made artisan hotdogs from Brigston & Co., home made pasta sauce, Scottish antipasti or a Scottish cheeseboard.

Our bar is stocked with a wide range of beers from Cairngorm Brewery in Aviemore, as well as a good selection of over 40 single malt whiskies and other Scottish beverages.
