Guisachan (pronounced GOOSH-a-gan meaning place of the fir in Scottish Gaelic) is a family run private guesthouse accommodation in Fort William in the Scottish Highlands.

Phill & Carmen would like to welcome you to our home which is close to the centre of the town, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. We are in an elevated position set back from the main road leading through Fort William, with views over Loch Linnhe and the surrounding mountains. The guesthouse is close to the High Street shops and Tourist Information Centre, the railway station, bus stops, the end of the West Highland Way, the start of the Great Glen Way and East Highland Way. Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest peak is close by, as are a number of other munros including the Mamores a group of 10 summits to the South of Glen Nevis.

Walker and cyclist friendly

We are walker and cyclist friendly with our purpose built drying room with electrically heated boot drying rack and lockable garage facilities for valuable bicycles. If you have a car we have a large free car park for you to use during your stay. If you are doing a planned walk, for example the West Highland Way, we have two spaces for cars to be left for the duration of your walk (by prior arrangement).

Our accommodation has 17 guest bedrooms, including single, twin, double, triple and family rooms. All but one room is ensuite and two of our rooms have a bath to enable you to soak away your aches and pains.

The guesthouse has free WiFi and Super-fast fibre optic broadband, if you need access to the internet, and we are happy to print off boarding passes and tickets for your onward travel.

Most importantly after a good night’s rest well send you on your way with a hearty Scottish breakfast to set you up for the day!
