Nevis Range from Loch Lochy

You don’t have to go far in Lochaber to find a stunning location.

Just around every corner is a fabulous view.  I’ve put together a slide show of some of my favourite places, some of which I return to time and again.

The seasons in Lochaber bring different hues and colours and there is always something different to see, even if the view is the same!

There are many places in Lochaber that are simply breath-taking, and a visit to Fort William should always include at least some of these places, whether you are walking to Fort William on the West Highland Way, or having a tour around the Scottish Highlands by car.

Lochaber is now a geographical location, rather than an administrative area and stretches from just north of Bridge of Orchy (on the A82) to Invergarry and includes the Ardnamurchan Peninsula to the west of Fort William.  Historically though Lochaber does have its roots in the administration of the area.
