Guisachan Guesthouse has been welcoming hikers from the West Highland Way for many years, and the Phill & Carmen are happy to accept bookings from people planning their own West Highland Way hike, and we are also preferred suppliers of a large number of companies that organise hiking holidays.

   We had a lovely stay here for two nights. The breakfast was extremely flavorful breakfast. I’m from Texas and was excited to see some things we don’t have. The black pudding was AMAZING along with the tattie scones. I snuck another one before I left. If I ever make it back to Fort William, I would love to stay again.

   This place is bigger than expected but still very calm, they also have a community area and provide coffee beer and tea. There is room to play board games which are provided with a great view to the bay!

   Excellent location (just off the West Highland Way), comfortable beds, extremely welcoming, and really good breakfast! The level of service was outstanding, and the host was very attentive. The views from the common areas are incredible! We really enjoyed our stay here.

   We finished our walk on the West Highland Way with a nights stay at Guisachan.
Carmen and Phil are so welcoming and the guesthouse is lovely.  Comfortable rooms that are spotlessly clean, great views, nice bar and lounge area and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning.  The pancakes were delicious and we got the recipe too.

   nous avons passé 2 nuits à Guisachan Guest House. j'avais fait une erreur en réservant une chambre single alors que nous étions 2, mais Morris a fait le nécessaire pour que tout s'arrange. superbe vue depuis la salle de restaurant, excellent petit déjeuner et tout proche du centre ville de Fort William. un endroit idéal pour visiter les alentours (glencoe en particulier)

   We sliepen hier na het wandelen van de West Highland Way. Phil had de moeite genomen om onze (vervoerde) bagage alvast op de kamer te zetten. Ontvangst is hartelijk en de kamers comfortabel en brandschoon. Vanuit de lounge een prachtig uitzicht over Fort William. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en smaakvol. Van harte aanbevolen!

   2박을 묵었는데 조식이 정말 훌륭했습니다. 정성스럽게 차려진 아침식사를 멋진 전망을 보며 먹으니 더욱 맛이 있었습니다. 방은 깨끗하고 잘 갖춰져 있으며 호수 전망도 정말 좋았어요. 호스트는 무척 친절했고 드라잉룸을 사용할 수 있어서 편리했습니다. 다만, 수압이 너무 약해서 씻는 것이 정말 힘들었습니다.

Within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops of Fort William and easy to enter and exit with a vehicle.

   My husband and I stayed here one night, and it was absolutely lovely! Clean, comfortable guest room with a view. The lounge was so cozy and homey - also with a view. We enjoyed a few cocktails with our friends who were also staying there. The innkeepers are fantastic and friendly! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and easy, because it was set up buffet style. We are vegan, so they provided nondairy milk for coffee, nondairy yogurt, and vegan sausage. Plenty for us!    Cute and clean guesthouse with a nice view. We stayed after completing the West Highland Way. We had to leave early, but the takeaway breakfast was perfect for the train. Took off 1 star because sound travels between the rooms.

   From the start to finish of our trip we were looked after brilliantly by the wonderful owners and staff. The breakfast was outstanding and the views were breathtaking. There is a bar which was a bonus too. I would highly recommend this wonderful guest house if your visiting Fort William. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

   Staff was very welcoming and helpful.  Helped us with advice on ferry travel that had been impacted by a recent storm.  Saved us a lot of trouble with our itinerary.  We stayed in the triple room which was pretty spacious and offered fantastic views.  Location is great for walking downtown and the breakfast was superb!  Fantastic stay overall.
