Glen Nevis and Steall Falls

If you want a pleasant afternoon walk without the relentless uphill slog that Ben Nevis offers, then Glen Nevis is the place to go.  You can walk the entire length of the glen if you feel the need, or if you only have a couple of hours or so you can drive to the car park at the very end of the C1162 and from there it is about a 40 minute walk through the Nevis Gorge to Steall Falls, Scotland’s second highest waterfall with a drop of 120 metres.

On a nice day, it is a very pleasant destination for a picnic as there is a large area of grass where you can sit.
