If you want a pleasant afternoon walk without the relentless uphill slog that Ben Nevis offers, then Glen Nevis is the place to go. ¬†You can walk the entire length of the glen if you feel the need, or if you only have a couple of hours or so you can drive to the car park at the very end of the C1162 and from there it is about a 40 minute walk through the Nevis Gorge to Steall Falls, Scotland’s second highest waterfall with a drop of 120 metres.

On a nice day, it is a very pleasant destination for a picnic as there is a large area of grass where you can sit.
